I decided to check KA today and, sorry, but i’m going to share the experience with you so matthias has something to read when he does his routine check of rigby

so the first thing i did was check me NOTIFS ofc because thats what KA is for

• abby has a website so thats cool
  
• boring sub notif from when i used to use kacp social media, i was such a loser back then, GO RIGBY
  
• another one: \“Come be a judge in the Khan Academy Tourney!\” the absence of the word \“and\” irratates me
  
• OOPSIE! Studio!! XD :D ;3 O.o
  I clicked that one because I had to see what our lord and saviour had to say.
  

But when I got there I stopped, horrified.

First off the discussion section looked horrible. I mean I had seen the update but its different when you see screenshots of the monstrosity and when you actually experience it for yourself. There’s too much white space, the buttons are not nice, the whole thing is plain. it seems they were trying to go for a minimalist, modern look but instead they’ve given everyone photokeratitis
Secondly, I wasn’t taken to the comment I clicked on in the notif box, thanks to the new update we have to waste time opening the original T&T BUT you dont have to scroll so i guess thats alright
then theres little things like that random \“more\” button on every single comment. i spent 15 seconds trying to click it and 30 more seconds wishing it didnt exist. and for some reason putting your mouse over how long ago a comment was posted underlines it, but the comments button doesnt get underlined EVEN THOUGH ITS MORE IMPORTANT. and then ofc theres that random blue box when you click on comments, idk what thats about but thank you for taking the time to add it ka
though, at the same time, they made it so you cant explain why you flagged a comment
also, i saw one good comment saying that the update was bad so i was like YES. HOWEVER when i went to type YES i wanted to go to recent comments to see who else said YES. ALAS ka decided to get rid of the convenient-and-easy-to-use-RECENT button. so i packed my bags and set off in search of it
after days, months, years, decades i found it trapped in a drop down menu in a huge impenetrable box
i was devasted. what had the Good Recent button ever done to anyone?? what did it do to deserve being dragged upto the land where no eyes see, where no mouse reaches?
in fact i was so devasted i forgot to say YES

so after going through this traumatising experience i thought maybe i could heal my poor shaken heart by assimilating some of the magnificence of the words of his majesty OOPS

But lo behold! as i began reading i discovered the true nature of OOPS
our trusted guardian was calling upon us to be decietful lying hypocrites
i quote: \“Anyway, please check it out, and even if you hate it, pretend you love it! XD Please? :P\”

after this horrendouly dreadful betrayal i could not bear to look at kacp again so i ran and hid in a corner and put everything on rigby to try to replenish the innocence of my soul
