On December 9th 2019 Rigby is shutting down permanently. This is the day of the would-be domain renewal and I’ve decided against continuing the site. It was a fun experience that never took off, understandably, because the site is extremely limited in its feature set. Hopefully in the next few days I will release an archive of all the posts and comments, and afterward delete all the site data. In the mean time, here are some interesting statistics:

Rest in peace, my favorite social media. All good things must come to an end, some sooner than others. And the time was just not right for Rigby, the world was just not ready. We can all learn from its failures and its beauties. And maybe, maybe, at some point in the future a child will arise from Rigby’s ashes and provide us with another home.
Thank you matthias, you were definitely one of the biggest supporters of the site and that genuinely meant a lot to me, if you'd like to place your writing anywhere else I hope you know there's a spot for you in ***OTHER PROJECT*** :)
